INSTAKE MANIFOLD

In order to create a perfect connection between the carburetor and the cylinder, the carburetor and the engine housing, it is very often necessary to adapt the intake manifold individually. This can be done by milling or by preliminary welding and after-milling.

It is important that the diameter of the intake manifold is the same as that of the carburetor. Likewise, the transition between the intake manifold and the diaphragm, or intake manifold to the cylinder / engine housing, should be perfectly worked - without "stair steps" or displacements.

We optimize your intake manifold in a streamlined manner. To do this, we also need the motor housing, if the intake manifold goes to the housing. Or we need the cylinder when it is screwed onto the cylinder.

We have a large selection of aluminum pipe bends, plates and pipes in stock to be able to build all variants quickly.
Intake cross sections of membranes may have different shapes. So the original Yamaha RD 350 membranes have a rectangular cross-section which is huge.

Similar Tassinari membranes have a sensible round cross-section, which leads to a much better flow.

In the case  of diaphragm suction nozzles, care must be taken that the transition  from the intake manifold to the diaphragm does not change abruptly but  merges uniformly into one another. For some membranes, there are so-called stufferers. These are membrane inserts which ensure good flow in the transition area.
